About I grew up in Centerville, Ohio and have spent most of my life and career in Ohio. I received my undergraduate degree in genetics and chemistry at The Ohio State University after which I pursued my medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine . Following this I moved to Cleveland and completed an Anesthesiology residency at the Cleveland Clinic. During my residency I found myself drawn to pain management and felt that there were exciting opportunities to better pain management and help those suffering from it. This led me to Boston where I completed my subspeciality training in Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital before being recruited back to Cleveland to continue my practice of pain management.

My interest lies primarily in minimally invasive therapies to improve chronic pain, ranging from simple injections to more advanced procedures involving implantation of small devices targeting pain in the low back, neck, joints, and nerves throughout the body. My goal with every patient is to not only decrease their pain, but more importantly assist them in returning to the life they led before suffering from chronic pain. I strive to stay versed in the most recent advances in the field so that I’m able to offer my patients every chance at improving their quality of life when standard therapies or surgery have been unable to do so.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) are a common treatment option for many forms of lower back pain and leg pain.

Cervical Thoracic Lumbar Medial Branch Blocks

A medial branch nerve block is a type of injection used to determine if the facet joint is causing the patient's back pain. Facet joints are pairs of small joints between the vertebrae in the back of the spine.

Radiofrequency Ablation Procedures

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed at a doctor’s office or a hospital. Patients usually return home the same day.

Joint Injections

Steroid injections (or corticosteroid injections) work to reduce swelling and inflammation in the joint. They are commonly used in the knee, hip, and shoulder to relieve pain and swelling, but can also be used to treat pain in other joints including the elbow, wrist, and ankle.

Botox Treatment

Botox injections are a minimally invasive treatment option for patients suffering from migraine headaches, spasticity, myofascial pain, back pain, neck pain, or neuropathy.
